Finding inspiration for graphic designs is sometimes a difficult task. If all else fails I love to make pieces relating to my hometown. Here a few that I’ve done over the years. Some are better than others, but I’ve enjoyed making them all. More are sure to come.

The Iowa Broadcast News Association released its list of award winners this past weekend. Loras College Television took home a number of awards including “Overall Excellence” for the student market. SportsZone won best sportscast and my SZ co-anchor Lauren Squires garnered the top college journalism award in the state.
